MLM is a legal pyramid. In the pyramid scheme only those on the top are the ones who make money. Most of the revenue generated by MLM is internal, meaning that you must purchase the product that they are selling. By you purchasing the product the ones on top are the benificiaries.
I have no idea why I am always being contacted by these types of companies. They always call me saying that they saw my resume and are offering management positions within their firm. I show up and it is the same ritual everywhere I go. First they show you a video showing how you can make a fortune by selling their product. Then they meet with you and say “you could join this company by a set up fee of $500″. Now this is the real way they make their revenue.
I knew a person who was heavily involved in this type of organizations. He made his money by getting people to sign up, yet the people who signed up seldom did they make any money.

So then what is the business about promoting your product, or recruiting people and selling them your product? It’s the whole recruiting and making money of your recruits by selling them false hopes that is what people don’t like about MLM

Wait… “the Net and Network Marketing”?? Catch-22??

Those two should go together, hand-in-glove. And yet, Network Marketers have struggled to realize the near-infinite networking, lead-generating potential of the Web.

How can that be?

Network Marketing (sometimes called “Multi-Level Marketing” or “MLM”) is all about…

* recruiting/lead generation/relationship-building
* sales conversion
* ongoing consumption
* replicating yourself through downline motivation and training.

How in the world could the Internet not be the best thing since sliced bread for Network Marketers? Because it’s being done, all wrong, by all the wrong people.

There’s no need to push (i.e., chase cold calls/prospects) when you can motivate potential customers and business-builders to pull (i.e., they want to call you to learn more).

Here’s how to Put The Net Back Into NETwork Marketing
