??????????????????????????????
I have 35 years experience in advertising
I have been involved in 10 or more MLM programs. The following are the main factors they state for joining their organization:
1. You can make easy money
2. You can work out of the home
3. You can sell to friends and family
4. You don’t need a storefront
5. You don’t need a degree or extensive training
6. Everyone you meet will LOVE the product.
Of course it’s based on growing a group of people just like you, beneath your level. The larger the number, the higher your payout.
The manipulation begins with the very first contact. They try to make you believe that MLM is the best way to sell anything, because it’s one-on-one marketing, with that personal service.
It appears to be a very simple way to make a lot of money with very little effort. They will always site examples of current sales people making obscene amounts of money with seemingly no trouble and having hundred, if not thousands selling below them. This type of coercion is common among MLM marketers who pray on those needing money and having little to invest.
The truth is that only a small fraction of those in the company will ever make much. Just those that got on in the very beginning and rose to the highest levels. If the product were all that good, it would have been sold in retail stores to start with. But you will never hear that from a member trying to get you inside.
